Sushi Robots, Europe's leading manufacturer of machines for Japanese gastronomy, has announced the opening of the Japanese Cuisine Academy, a training centre aimed at catering professionals and those undergoing retraining. The aim of the Japanese Cuisine Academy is to provide training in the art of Japanese cuisine. It will be welcoming its first students from 22 to 26 January for a 'Become a Sushiman' course with chef Micha\u00ebl Pankar. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In France, the range of Japanese restaurants (sushi, gyozas, ramen, etc.) is constantly expanding and reaching an ever-wider audience. To meet the demand from professionals looking for training, and to help them master the techniques of traditional gestures, a Japanese Cuisine Academy<\/a> was born on the premises of Sushi Robots, in Charente-Maritime.<\/p>

To embody this new project, a fully-equipped 40m2 teaching kitchen has been created to accommodate up to 8 learners in a friendly atmosphere.<\/p>

\"Long before it became a distributor of machines for Japanese gastronomy, Sushi Robots, formerly The Sushi School, was a training centre. Today, Sushi Robots is returning to its 'first love' by creating the Japanese Cuisine Academy. For over a year, we've been working on this project with the desire to teach our future students the art of Japanese gastronomy.\" <\/em>explains Camille BARATON, educational coordinator of the Japanese Cuisine Academy.<\/p>

Aimed at beginners, retrainees and professionals who want to diversify their menu or improve their skills, the training courses offered by the Japanese Cuisine Academy focus on a practical approach, centred on the culinary repetition specific to the art of sushi.<\/p>

The first training course Becoming a Sushiman <\/em>is designed to cover the basics of making sushi in the Japanese tradition. It allows you to get up and running quickly and reflects the realities of the trade, while preserving the integrity of Japanese culinary culture.<\/p>

From March, the Japanese Cuisine Academy will be offering a course on how to make gyoza. After that, the centre aims to create a Ramen course and develop English-language courses for European countries.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Japanese Cuisine Academy relies on expert trainers to give its students a professional grounding in Japanese cuisine. For the first course Becoming a Sushiman<\/em>The students will be accompanied by chef Micha\u00ebl Pankar, vice-champion of the Sushi World Cup in 2023. For the \"Gyozas\" course, the team called on Thao H, co-founder of Mum Dim Sum, the first fast-food chain specialising in Dim Sum.<\/p>

\"It's essential for us to work with experts in their field. Our training courses meet the specific needs of professionals, with instructors able to give targeted advice based on each individual's project. \" <\/em>concludes Camille Baraton.<\/p>

As a further guarantee of quality, the Japanese Cuisine Academy's training courses have been certified by Qualiopi. This body, which is run by the French government, recognises the quality processes established by the training organisation and means that registrants can apply for funding from a number of public bodies.<\/p>
